Academy Improvement Approach
Of course, in law Primitas is a Multi-Academy Trust, but behind that legality is the heart of our Learning Partnership.
We are a truly collaborative, educational venture with a simple and clear vision: “To empower and enable academies to work together to provide the kind of education that our children need and deserve.”
Many Trusts talk about their ambitions for economies of scale, governance, recruitment and retention, leadership, and more besides, and all of this is very important. However, it is all a means to an end, and amidst politic and strategy, it is easy to lose sight of the happiness, safety and learning of children, and the experience of those who are day-to-day at the chalkface.
Our Trust is different – we resolutely hold education front and centre – that is our focus and constant improvement is our goal.
We have a clear academy improvement strategy, led by our Chief Executive Officer and School Improvement Lead, but all academy leaders play their part in shaping, developing and delivering this improvement.
We are blessed with great ability and passion in our Trust, across primary, secondary and special settings, and we love to harness and develop that. Even so, we also tap into wider networks and specialists where we need to. It is vital to harness all we have, but also to be outward-looking in the pursuit of advancement, but within all of this our emphasis with schools is very much to do with, rather than to do to.
All of our Trust’s academies benefit from our Academy Improvement approach and we work with and learn from a wide range of settings beyond our Trust. If you would like to learn more, to get involved, or to simply tap into our expertise and approach, then get in touch.
